I’ve been in a bit of a funk lately. So I went to where I go for a lift and inspiration. Target, of course. Ha. I call it Target therapy. It’s free to meander the aisles and get lost in the fun stuff. So that’s what I do. I guess it’s not really free once I hit the check out. That part is called shopping therapy.
My first stop is always the dollar section. When I was there, I found some cards that said, “Buy me.” So I did. Then I decided, let’s turn this into a little Valentine’s art. So I did.
One dollar and one minute later, I had this…
Just taped the card to the backing of the frame with silver striped washi tape and called it done. Too easy.
Popped it up on the mantel with some hand drawn kid art and that is some good love art going on!
I L-O-V-E it.
And when we are done with the love season, I can pull it right off and use the frame for something else. That’s what I like. Double duty, don’t need to store, holiday décor. And one dollar + one minute = my favorite kind of project every time.

Oh - I LOVE Target-therapy! Works every time, especially since there's a Starbucks in our Target! :)
ReplyDeleteLove the way you combined all of this art. Especially love the kid art! So great!
